Real Couples // A Simple San Francisco Elopement: Christine + Lee
/We can tell that Christine adores Lee. She says he has a kind and caring heart. When their beautiful daughter, Aleah, was born, she saw how he could be even more loving.
He has a fun and creative side, too. He tells dad jokes, the kind you would groan at, but Christine says they always give her a good laugh.
How can you resist a partner who writes on Krispy Kreme donut hats, collects sugar packets from all of the places they visit, and leaves sweet notes on your car?
Christine shared with us that their relationship was a bit of a roller coaster ride with highs and lows. They were even apart for a stretch. Through that she learned that when you lose something you once had, it’s an opportunity to realize how important that something — that someone — is. When they got back together, she knew that he was the one and she wanted to share all of life’s blessings and challenges with him.
Christine and Lee wanted a simple wedding. So their choice was a wedding at San Francisco City Hall, with only family and close friends in attendance to celebrate embarking on their new life together. After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed a wedding meal together at Alexander’s Steakhouse in the City.
