Samantha + English's Puptastic Same-Sex Newlywed Portraits in Columbia, SC
/English and Samantha were married in a backyard ceremony in Columbia, South Carolina, with only the closest of their friends and family in attendance. English and Sam wanted to be sure to document this special time in their lives with beautiful newlywed portraits, and I'm so honored that the chose me as their same-sex friendly wedding photographer.
English and Sam decided to bring along their two dogs during their session for photos of all of them together as a family. If you know me, you know that I am always happy when my clients bring along their fur babies. English and Samantha's pups, Kerwin and Zoe, wore a matching bandanna and bowtie set, and rocked out their photos with the couple. What better prop could one have other than a doggo or two in a photo, amiright?
English and Samantha laughed and giggled throughout their entire session! Their newlywed joy and excitement about this big step in their relationship was so evident in every photo of them together. Right after we met up to photograph these portraits, English and Samantha took a big leap and moved to Colorado. Not only were these portraits meant to commemorate their marriage and the beginning of their life together, but also their time in Columbia, South Carolina, and all their memories here.
Kerwin and Zoe really tried to steal the show with how cute they were in all of their photos with English and Sam! But these two lovely ladies' style and sophistication could not be out-shined. I loved getting a chance to photograph English for the first time after knowing each other for a few years, and honestly, I cannot get over her gorgeous curls!! Sam donned a bowtie and looked so sharp.

My little family consists of one pup and two cats; I get along better with my furry friends than humans some days! I love to read novels and am always game for good movie. Oh, and also ALWAYS down for a craft beer from the tap!
